Sinar Agung Perkasa is a privately owned company that was formed in 2000 using a small factory in the city of Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia, with the intention of producing knitted towels for the home markets using Karl Mayer, a computerized flat knitting machines. In 2002, The Directors of the company qiuckly decided that the future of the company lay not only in producing towels for the home consumer but also in the production of high quality towels for the Hotels, Hospitals, Government and high quality promotional markets, not only for the Indonesian market but also for export.With this intention in mind, a new perperse build factory was commissioned. In June 2004 the company officially moved to its new location in Beji, Pasuruan. The company is equipped with the latest machinery from Europe and Japan, and uses only high quality yarns to ensure that quality and delivery can be assured to the customer. Currently the factory is capable of producing between 50 to 70 tonnes per month depending on customer construction requirement. As soon the current installation program is completed, the production capability will be between 150 and 210 tonnes per month. In addition, phase 2 of the development is already in the planning stages and it is hoped we can achieve a production level in excess of 500 tonnes per month within the foreseeable future.It is the intention of the Directors to develop a company that customers can depend upon for higher quality products and prompt delivery.
