Initially, the main production comprised of various kinds wood moulded products such as dowel, skirting and others, exported to Japan and Italy. Apart from this, the company also deals with wood trading for supply to wood industries in Indonesia, China and Japan. In 1992 it started producing raw wooden slats using Ramin. All of the slats, in unpainted condition, are exported mainly to Taiwan. The whole production process itself involves 150 employees. By 2003 as Aldotama Permai PT expanded into painting lines, its name has been changed to Alasindo Prima PT. The factory is still in the same location but with extended land and building. Current slats are produced using Sun Basswood (Indonesian Basswood) , Kela Wood and Pisa Wood. The latter is a newly found species that is very similar to Ramin: yellow to white in color, stable and suitable as slats. Kelawood also has lesser density than Ramin making it comparatively lighter. HR-Wood or Pisa-Wood has also similar character to Kelawood. Current monthly production capacity is 150 m3. The use of best possible selected wood and stock of certain wood species is stored to ensure continuous supply at all times. Products come in many different colors and in the following widths: 25 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm.
