John C.Fitch is a man of many firsts. He was the first SCCA champion (1951) and won the 12 hours of Sebring in 1953. As Corvette race team manager he transformed the car into a full-fledged racing machine in the mid 50's. He is perhaps best known for his development of the fitch highway barrier system, the yellow sand filled plastic barrels which are used on every interstate highway accross US. And which have saved thousands of lives by dissipating the energy of an automobile impact. In September 2000 John Fitch was inducted into the corvette Museum Hall of Fame for his contribution to making the Corvette a contender at Daytona, Sebring and LeMans. The highly succesful John C.Fitch and Co, was approached by the inventors of the fuel catalyst to provide product development and commercialization resources required to bring this fuel catalyst technology to market. After extensive evaluation Mr.Fitch agreed and Advanced Power System Inc was formed to be manufacturer of this innovation marketed as the Fitch Fuel Catalyst. The Fitch fuel Catalyst is a pre-combustion fuel treatment device that treats gasoline (2+4 stroke), diesel, karosene, and propane on any size engine from small power equipment of less than 1 hp to engines of 10,000hp or more. The FFC allows fuel to combust more completely by inducting a chemical reaction among fuel molecules prior to combustion reducing the tendency of fuel pre-ignite, or cause knocking, burn poorly causing smoke or soot, or go stagnant when stored. Other benefits resulting from use of the Fitch Fuel Catalyst include reduced tailpipe emissions, better fuel economy, more power, and quicker acceleration. These benefits translate into more economical usage of yesterdays, today's and tomorrow's internal combustion engines and less enviromental impact from the use of hydrocarbon fuels. The Fitch Fuel Catalyst is a permanent fuel treatment that eliminates the requirement for additives of all kinds, including octan boosters and fuel stabilizer.
